Software Engineering
Dr. Edwin has been in software since early high-school with over 35 years of experience in C/C++ contributing to software projects at Motorola and Microsoft Corporation.
- At Motorola, Dr. Edwin lead a team of engineers in China, Russia, and the United States implementing the KVM that shipped to millions of phones made by Motorola. Dr. Edwin also assisted licensing and technology acquisition for several projects including Qualcomm, Swipe, and other projects. Including one of the firsts Android phones by Motorola.
- At Microsoft, leading Program Manager and main contributor for Bluetooth and Personal Area Networks (PAN),, Windows Zero Configuration (WIFI) and roaming engine platforms..
- From 2010 to 2026, Dr. Edwin has lead teams in projects such as MEVIA, and his tenants at the incubator from Cirrus Core Networks, Healthcare startups, SAFEFI and many other projects from Hardware to Software.

As a software engineering expert, I have over 25+ years of experience in programming. I enjoy attending Hackathons, Startup Weekends, and any event that requires the use of some creativity. For example:

- Bitcoin Competition – Runner-up #3 – Bitcoin Caster – uses Amazon’s Alexa to process the blockchain.
- The LAB Miami – Hula Drive extension for aggregating space on Amazon S3, Dropbox, and Google drive
