Pedro Cerrato (link) and myself (link), founding members of “Honduras Global” met in Boca Raton, at EGLA COMMUNICATIONS office. We discussed several topics and had a friendly exchange of ideas. We also had a brief conference call with Nora Seddig where we spoke about Wilinknu projects and when could we go again to Honduras. Pedro is going down there on Tuesday and will participate in Marco Caceres event in Copan as well on his idea of sustainable commerce.
One topic of interest was “Startup Weekend” given my participation in Startup Weekend Boca Raton. We threw the idea that maybe Honduras Global should organize “Startup Weekend Tegucigalpa.” Nora and the Honduras Global team may take this initiative a bit further. I will keep you posted.
