Comet Tempel 1 will collide with NASA’s probe, deep impact, tonight (tomorrow July 4th) at 1:53 AM EDT. It will be an amazing phenomena that some will observe in Latin America and Western Hemisphere. Since I am not in the western hemisphere…. FL might not be able to watch it, I will be waiting to see the comet’s pictures via the internet but I will be outside looking in SW-W direction.. just in case.. The probe will be traveling at an amazing speed of 100 000 km/hr. liberating about 1.9 x 10^10 Joules of Energy.
